Crector writes to his blog... once again... about us
Apparantly he's still hurt. So once again he fills his day writting about us. Man I love it. For the newest tidbit of ignorance go right this way:
http://www.omgn.com/nexus/?p=522
Let me know if you find what "whining" we've been doing, solely stated in his title.

I didn't find any "whining," but I did find this:

The best part is, doesn't that all make him like 35 minimum and say 55 tops? That's what's funny.

I love in all his other articles he quotes himself as the main source for the article he's writing.
This is just the same stuff that got him banned form HF. He can't leave well enough alone.

Lennon was killed in 1980, 25 years ago. Since you've got to be 13 to 19 to be a teenager, that puts him in the 38 to 44 range. So if he joined in 2000 he was 33 to 39, and if he quit/left/was removed in 2003 he was 36 to 42.
I'm older than most of y'all, but not that much older. :-)

Newbies...raahh???
I do believe admission was internal only and the only reason we've down-sized is because of RL issues.

SB never had problems and we never mass recruited. WTF is he getting this info. We dominated a server for months and got EVERYONE to ally against us to stop us.
And EvE is doing better than ever. War sucks if you are losing, but this war is even and so much fun and we found complexes we can do for huge ISK!

I can't say we were huge in every game we picked up, but Shadowbane is the one I can absolutely say we truely -dominated- the server in. SDGoonZ owned everyone on Deception and they knew it.

I'd ignore him, seriously. Just posting about the guy brings even more attention to him. How many people actually read his blog? Not many, I'm sure. He's not worth your time or attention, guys. Just laugh at him and move on.

Quick questions
1. What was his forum account name when he was in HF?
2. What was his gaming name and what games did he participate in HF with?
I'm curious to know 'cuz he wrote a nice post about Blast Radius last year and I didn't realize he knew about BR.

I KNOW! Why dont i make a blog and post on it saying he is a meany!......how many people actually read some tools blog? how many 40 year olds write a blog....this dude should focus less on how HF burned him in 2003 and more on a lawsuit against Universal Pictures for the rights to his life as seen in the 2005 (and might i say more recent than this 2003 HF incident) movie intitled "The Forty Year Old Virgin".
P.S. Sup guys

What I find comical is that the House Forsaken he's angered at, isn't the same one it is today. You know, once the main site goes up maybe I'll get him his own section under the title of "This guy makes us Laugh".

I remember crector only because he was a rather out spoken individual here for awhile. It's amazing how people come, then go, and then stay bitter for years.

Ex, predating me was the Original Diablo group, a huge EQ section. BBG (which the Crector guy is pissy about) and I believe Counter-Strike. Which was half-way through it's lifespan when I was recruited. There's slews of members before my time. Anything After my tyranny in the CS Realm are games like Shadowbane, WCIII, Lineage 2, DoD, WoW (Yes I'm forgetting a few important ones).
It's hard to believe we've been through so much together, and we're still together. Hah, go us.

I think you joined before me Barry, we just didn't run into each other right away. I joined when D2 hit the shelves, but for SC. I think I was on D2 staff before I got the game.
Back then there were a lot of members. The forums were a bit more active too and there were always games HF was ready to go into or getting prepared for. HF is still together, but the community is very small and not so very happening.

I joined during the rise of our SC days and was a witness to our golden age. I believe a few days after I joined Rheem(BDR) followed me. I cried every day since.
Also, I think making fun of crector for anything but his obsession with HF is wrong. We have people older than him and we have people as flawed as him or more, its not called for. He's only flaws are his deep(way too deep) passion for what he believes in and his inability to drop grudges.

I think they're making fun of his age because he's around 40 years old, still complaining about a gaming guild. They're not saying, "wow he's 40, therefore he's a loser." It's "wow, he's 40 and still bitching about something from a game that was years ago."

dark, i joined in late 2000. CS started December 2000 on Boiler Room right after Christmas. HF had been searching for a ping server all that month and it was the answer to HF losing almost all of its FPS membership when Blast Radius formed. That April, Sean started the two first KH servers.
I was member of the month the first full month after i joined.

I was the first SC leader that wasn't usurper and I understood why he never logged onto ICQ. Back then I'd get online and spend 1-2 hours dealing with member's problems then I'd finally get to game.
I think Incarnate took it over from me.

Someone needs to come up with a giant timeline... Or even that family tree from back in the day... Man, I can't believe I was in high school (grade 10 for that matter) when theis all started. Oh man... I'm so fucking old. It's good to come back every so often though. Makes me wonder what I'm doing at 3:30 in the morning, though. I should be sleeping...

We can get a list of when people joined and I'm sure making some timeline or something up wouldn't be all that difficult.

lol well i sparked a better convo in this topic that just that crector tool. Yeah im pretty old and pretty insignifigant in the HF timeline. I played CS for awhile and then return to castle wolfenstien with inviz! btw how are you inviz. Its funny seeing sole and stuff still around.
Is stryker the stryker that was from the old boilerroom or a different one? cause if he is hes been around since at least 2000.
I dunno when i joined at all, i wanna say 1999 but i could be wrong. It says 2001 on these forums but i was joined before these were made i believe.
I dont play many games anymore tho cause im in pre-med in college and that takes up alot of my time. I do play final fantasy 11 online though.
Anyway cool seeing some of you old guys around (danimal dan, sole, fate, inviz, rajun)

I don't think stryker was a member until sometime in 2001 when HF left the Boiler Room. In fact, I think Stryker joined HF after HF left BR, before BR died out. Either way it was Winter/Spring of 2001 Thats about the time when Giga joined us and MC joined us. FS even joined us for like... a week.
HF really didn't get big in CS until January 2001. Many of the D2 guys including myself got CS for or around Christmas and we had such a surge that BR wasn't big enough for us and we didn't have enough admin ability on the server. We were always looking for the FDA guys. We had arguments a lot with FS and company... OCT, because they hated us and thought HF would die before they did. Little did they know we just got bigger. At one point HF had 50 CS members and could fill two KH servers at one time for practices. That was crazy. Things got better, OCT died, EB was created? and things were a little more friendlier.

I first signed up on the HF Forums in November of 99 when I was introduced to HF through the Trex Mercenaries (whom I had joined at that time) in Solar Empire. I didn't officially join until (I think) about a year later.

OCT died when BR was ready to collapse. EB was formed.... If I remember right, wynd, FS, and gang then tried HF for a bit, left to make EZ, then some of the EZ folks left for HF again. However, much of that happened during the second wave of KH servers. Sean and Yert started FPS after Tribes guys left. Sean and I ran the first set of KH servers. Aspire and Dink.... Dink and Casty... Agent Smith and Misty... ? Ranger and Uskilla? Then Uskilla and Fate? Somewhere I think Crisis and JM were in there and Im sure im missing a few groups of leaders.
if you can remember who lead the realm when you joined, it would be easy to pinpoint when you joined

OCT died like a month before BR collasped, they formed DPz, EB, DZ... windryder was in HF for a couple months and was eventually kicked i believe, none of the others really tried to get in
3-4 months after BR closes we open KH, EB has their server, DZ has a server... DPz we don't really hear from again (i played with them from time to time to rape Fucking sorry :P) sometime later, EB and DZ merge... my brother did a lot of the work for both EB and EZ
one of the best players we ever saw in our history was Lockeye... holy...fuck... that guy was insane on BR... way better than anyone else IMO... i remember he had MULTIPLE rounds where he killed EVERY SINGLE PLAYER :/
FS was good but either he lost his touch or I just got a lot better because i rarely died to him eventually (including the final days of BR)
Can anyone dig up old stats pages using those weird internet archive thingies?

It seems Crector gets a hard on during a certain time of the year. In November, he may have said that he is about done talking about HF.
Theory: he will come back NEXT YEAR like a broken record saying HF is still dieing.

Yeah, that sounds like the right history for the CS section, Dan. I also think there was a time back in the day when chromium (who was also a pretty good player and from Mississauga) had joined HF.

if you can remember who lead the realm when you joined, it would be easy to pinpoint when you joined
I joined HF when like Maddog ran the realm. (The first leader) i believe it was maddog and dam i forget his name but it started with an A and he later changed his namy to yurtle the turtle. Then Aspire and I ran the realm. Then aspire and i think dink. Then dink and castaway, then i dunno cause i stopped playing CS.
On a side note, did castaway ever show back up? he like just disappeared one week and was never online again

Oh man... not sure if I remember exactly when I joined. I joined HF through Scott (Ghost), who I knew in a different guild before. I remember BR, KH, playin diablo, D2, SC, BW with the guys in HF. Tsalith, Colino, Devon, and a bunch of other old schoolers that disappeared.
Similiar how Rheem started the URA, Devon had started the Maikar Family, and I believe there where a couple other 'families' who titled themselves as members and we would have 'wars' and stuff between em. Fun stuff.
The old days were fun, im sure not many remember the Bnet Wars?
When Bnet was still developing from Diablo/SC, we would use proxy servers to load like 1000 bots in the channels, take them over, crash guild webservers, hack into players PCs that pissed us off, which would disable their communication (barely any IM clients in those days) and cause their guild to dissolve. I remember we crashed Bnet a few times, my old guild LoH and a few of our allies at the time loaded roughly 10,000 bots and caused the Bnet server to crash lol.. wow.. miss the old days.
Now Blizzard is all anal, and has channel protections, no bots etc..

I was good friends with Dink and Cast. Yea, Ex I was around actually before Laminad apparently. I don't remember that far back it's all sort of a blur. I was an Admin at BR, and played with HF quite frequently, but at the same time I played alot with EB, DZ whatever you want to call them. I was the king of the scout in those days. I used to go as Epyon, [st*ar]EpYoN, SilentDeath, and I may of ran as Dante for a while I can't remember. Speaking of old people, Uskilla. Boiler-Room was so much fun though because it was like a big community that played there regularly, so there'd always be a buddy on. I followed HF at the collapse of BR to Kill House (this was all in CS incase anyone missed that). I continued to play as apart of them but eventually I drifted away to something else (can't remember what), but I never even thought HF was still around until the WoW Beta when I was killed (ganked) by Id and then on the Blizz WoW forums I saw Id again, and contacted him, which directed me back here and to my amazement, HF was still alive. Hence why Surper and I are as good of friends.

I remember all that. Remember the old SC days when I went as GoliathOnline for a while when Sole and them were playing. All the Tribes section and whatnot, played with the guys and eventually joined up through the SC section. I can't remember if I joined up through GoliathOnline or Rajun... Hmmm..

a lot of people predate me and are surprised. i was a d2 staff member the day i became a full member and helped run d2 within 3 months. at 5 months i ran CS with Sean. within 7 months I was coordinator and before my first year I was a director. then it was 4.5 years before I left.

Not many of us "old schoolers" around these days. But I am the creator of HF therefore bow down!!! =p Someone refresh my memory, who is this crector guy. I remember the name but I never really had any dealings with him. Was he in any other section besides BBG?

He used to be in the Trex Mercenaries along with myself, and Darqflare (and a few others I think). We all joined up when TM died off. I dunno if crector was active in any part of HF aside from the BBG section.

Oh Ok, ya I don't really remember him though I do recall the name. Kind of funny he feels "passionate" enough to actually write about us in a blog. We've never really had many people who have left HF in a really bad fashion, but the 2 or 3 who have, carry quite the rage about HF, this guy included. They never quite seem to go away fully or leave us behind fully... hmm interesting.

who are the others? Only ones i can think of really are Atmo and Sarv and neither oen of them seem to have any rage at all. Atmo has posted here a few times, and i talked to Sarv in WoW some and other random times after he left.

What Dave was saying, they are the three who were destructive when they left either hacking, deleting, or pissing on HF through other means.
What they also have in common was that Dave told each to pack sand. Maybe Dave should not say that anymore.... lol.... na.... It has to be the greatest "You just got dumped so go fuck yourself" line in the galaxy.

Same idea as go pound sand or go fuck yourself. Have you ever pounded sand? It's a pretty pointless. It's along the same lines as go kill yourself.
What's more amazing is that we finally managed to drag Dave out into general discussion forum...

I think Pinkus joined a few weeks before me. I don't think anyone who's still in the guild (and active) with the exception of Usurper, Stormy, and maybe aeon is older-school than us. (I'm kinda fuzzy about when aeon joined, he's so very mysterious, you know) Crystalyn joined sometime in 99 when GoS merged into HF, qualifying her for the prestegious 'Oldschool HF girl' title. Lilly would of been a tie, as they both merged into HF at the same time, but she isn't apart of HF anymore, although if you go by when they joined GoS, Crys would probably outrank myself, pinkus, and aeon for sure. Crazy, isn't it?
Atmo was pretty destructive and he pops his head out ever now and then, I think he mostly worked behind the scenes to undermine us. Sarvoth did delete the forums I think and named his guild after us, but he doesn't have any ill will to us anymore. Hell, he let me join his WoW guild, if you remember right, he tried to have me removed from SB. (It was funny, all of you guys came out and defended me, ya'll are the best) Speaking of both Sarv and Lilly, they get married tomorrow.

Actually Lilly didn't join GoS until we'd be a part of HF for about 4 months. I was trying to remember when we merged.. seems like August of 1998? I can't remember.. It was the same year that EQ came out, that's all I know :P And Dark, you joined sometime after that, so I don't think 1997 is right. Wasn't it aftger BW came out? <3
EDIT: I'm sorry, 1999 was when GoS merged :D

I remember rheem pointing out this cool new game that is a graphical MUD. The p2p made me not play it, but I was hyped about it, so I know I was in HF before EQ came out.
bahemoth may out date us, but not in years active. I think Laos might outdate us too, but I'm pretty sure aeon doesn't, no matter what anyone says, because I remember running the BBG during our strongest SE days and talking to him about the game and stuff and thinking back then that he was a newer person. I may be wrong, but I'd say there's a good chance aeon is newer than me and rheem.
So that probably just leaves stormy and usurper as active members older than us.

LoL, go pack sand, I love that! When I said rage, I had meant they had a lot of anger and rage to work out after their leaving. I certainly don't think any of those guys have it now, at least I hope not. And after crector gets all this out of his system he'll find his own peace to some day =p
And yes Brian, I have come back to the general forum, I have been meaning to do so for a loooong time LoL! Man, we should try and put some kind of timeline together for all you sucka foos. I really wish I had kept better track of our history over these past 9+ years. For a while there I kept everything, but I just simply lost track of it. And after several pc's and such... well kinda lost it all. One of these days I'll dig thru some old hard drives if I can find them.
